Work Experience

Tyler began his 4-H career with over 14 years of experience within the 4-H program, as well as other volunteer opportunities and activities.  Tyler served as a camp staff member for 6 summers at the W.E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center at Smith Mountain Lake, as well as one summer at the Sertoma 4-H Center at Wakefield, NC, and one season as an outdoor education specialist at the Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Center in Reidsville, NC

A Botetourt County native, Tyler's career with Virginia Cooperative Extension began in 2012 as the 4-H Youth Development Agent in Floyd County, prior to transferring to Botetourt County in March of 2019.  Currently, he provides leadership over the Botetourt County 4-H program, which includes a variety of community club activities and programs.
